Albertsons is doing their coupon deals again this week!  As a reminder $.25 and below quadrupled, up to $.33 trippled, and up to $.50 doubled (it’s not clear what happens to coupons over $.50, if they are taken at face value or if they round up to $1)!  Albertsons is also accepting competitors coupons (included in the list: King Soopers, Safeway, Walmart, Sunflower, Sprouts and Whole Foods).  Make sure you always check to see if they are doing this whenever you shop at Albertsons, because I found that they don’t always advertise when they are doing this (and according to them they are NOT always doing it). The fine print says they will use this policy for up to 3 like coupons (the rest are redeemed for face value) and it says they won’t double “do not double” coupons but I’m not sure YMMV.

Albertsons:

The following are all $1.88 each (no limit or minimum)

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, Roll*ups, Stickerz, Gushers or Fruit by the Foot -

Fiber One Bars or Toaster Pastries - use $.50 coupon from the 11-15 GM insert. Doubled and you spent only $.88

Check Mix Bars

Kellogg’s Pop Tarts - depending on the flavors on sale use the coupon here to save on Gingerbread flavor.

General Mills Cereal - use the $1/2 coupon from the 11-1 SS insert or the $1/2 coupon found here

Pillsbury Toaster Strudels or Scrambles - use the $.55/2 coupon from the 9-13 GM (exp 12-5). If they round up to $1 you can save $1 on 2.

Nature Valley Crunchy Granola, Sweet and Salty Nut or Chewy Trail Mix Bars

Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters - use the $1/1 coupon found here and spend only $.88. Considering when these aren’t on sale the price is around $4 each this is a GREAT deal, and if you have some $1.60 vocal point coupons (if not expired) you can knock it down to $.22 a pop!

Post Cereal

Yoplait Kids Yogurt - use the $.75/2 or $.35/1 found in the 11-8 SS insert (whichever you find), maybe you can save $1 off two or $.70 off 1.

Yoplait Frozen Smoothies - use the $1 coupon found in the 11-15 SS insert and spend only $.88

Albertsons Gallon Milk $1.99 - are these prices going back up? It’s possible that you can still get milk at Walmart for $1.88, but that’s not a HUGE savings.

The Following are all 10/$10

Naval Oranges 3 lb bag - this ends up being $.34 lb can you beat that price for oranges?  I don’t think I can.

Albertsons Large Eggs AA 12 ct, Butter 8 oz or Sour Cream 16 oz

Banquet Value Meals, Flav*R*Pac Stir Fry Vegetables, Green Giant Boil in Bag Vegetables or Valley Fresh Steamers - use $.50 coupons found here or here if doubled this makes the Valley Steamers FREE

Albertsons Cream Cheese, Farmland Roll Sausage, Bar-S Jumbo Meat Franks or Bologna 16 oz - Just last week Oscar Mayer Bologna was on sale for only $2. Getting Bologna for $1 is always a stock up price in my book. The hot dogs get cheaper though so you can always wait or check out Walmart’s prices. Use the 1/$2 coupon found here

Fresh Express Premium Romaine or Green and Crisp

Pepsi, 7UP, RC, A&W or Shasta Mixers 2 liters

Betty Crocker Boxed Potatoes or Progresso Vegetable Classics Soup - use the $.35 coupon found in the 11-11 SS and 11-15 GM or the $.40 here,

Nestle Hot Cocoa Mix 10 pk, Carnation Evaporated Milk 12 oz, Albertsons Powdered or Brown Sugar 2 lbs - I think that’s a pretty good price on Evaporated milk, but I’m not sure, $1 for a 2 lb bag of Powdered or Brown sugar is pretty cheap though.

Assorted Pork Loin Chops bone in family pack $.97 lb

Chicken Breast boneless, skinless $1.77

Ground Beef 93% lean 5 lbs or more $1.77 lb

Lots of BOGO deals in meat this week:

USDA Choice Petite Sirloin Steak Family Pack BOGOFREE (reg price $6.99 lb) - if you are going to buy it anyways why not get 2 for the same price?

Pork Center Cut Chops bone-in family pack BOGOFREE (reg price $3.99 lb) - same as above, why not get 2 if you are already getting one?

Pork Center Cut Chops boneless BOGOFREE (reg price $4.99 lb) - same as above, why not get 2 if you are already getting one?

Pork Tenderloins BOGOFREE (reg price $4.99 lb)

Laura’s Lean Beef Ground Beef 92% lean BOGOFREE (reg price $5.99 lb) - this seems like a lot to pay for beef, but if it’s not per pound than this might be a better deal than the above 5 lbs for $1.77 lb.  You’d have to check the store to confirm that though.

Red Bird Chicken Breast or Tenders bonless, skinless BOGOFREE (reg price $7.99 lb) - again not sure if this is really per pound or per package.  If it’s per package than that’s a GREAT deal!

Butterball Tin and Crispy Turkey Bacon 6 oz or Calidad Tortillas Flour 10 ct, Corn 30 ct or Cacique Chorizo 10 oz 10/$10 - Tortillas $1 or less is usually a good deal in my opinion.

Sargento Sliced Cheese 8 oz, Land O’ Frost Premium Lunchmeat or Oscar Mayer Beef Bologna 12 oz or Johnsonville Smoked Sausage $2.99 - $3 for Bologna and it’s not even a whole pound?  Unless you have a brand preference, I suggest getting the Bar-S instead at $1 for a lb.

Buitoni Pasta and Sauce or Albertons Grated Parmesean, Ricotta Cheese, Mozzeralla Cheese $2.99

Farmland, Bar-S or Tyson Bacon 16 oz $2.99 - not the cheapest I’ve seen but might be the cheapest you will see for a bit. Use the Bar-S coupon found here

Bruce’s Yams Albertsons Marshmallows or Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce - If you are stocking up on Cranberry sauce before they go away for another year, this isn’t a bad price.

American Beauty Pasta, Hunt’s Tomato Sauce or Spaghetti Sauce 10/$10

Pillsbury Cake Mix $.79 - pretty good price, no min requirements either.

Kuner’s Vegetables 2/$1

Hot or Lean Pockets or Calzones 6/$10 - use the $.50/3 10-25 SS, or the $.50/1 9-13 RP coupons, if doubled you can save $1 on 3 or $1 on 1.

McCormick Spices 50% off

Cheetos or Nabisco Snack Crackers 2/$4 - use the $1/2 nabisco crackers coupon found here

Sara Lee Bread or Hostess Donettes $1.99

Idahoan Instant Potatoes, Chicken of the Sea Boneless Pink Salmon Chunk or Solid White Tuna 10/$10

Hefty Foam Plates 50 ct or Ro*tel Diced Tomatoes 10 oz 10/$10

Jolly Time Microwave Popcorn, Kraft Easy Mac or Velveeta Shells and Cheese cups 10/$10

French’s Worcestershire Sauce 10 oz or Le Sueur Peas 15 oz 10/$10

Knudsen Cottage Doubles 10/$10

Albertsons Whipping Cream $.79

Coke 12 pk 3/$12 - just about the worst deal on soda you can find and still call it a “deal”

Pepsi 12 pk cans or 6 pk bottles 3/$13 - I stand corrected.  This is even worse than the coke deal.

FREE Dasani Water 24 pk bottles WYB 10 Powerade 32 oz at 10/$10 - not a bad price for Powerade and the water makes it even better!

Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water 6 pk or 3 ltr or Perrier 25 oz 10/$10 - The 3 ltr bottle is great for preparing for emergencies, since it is just slightly less than the 1 gallon per person they suggest. Buy a few of these and you’re set for water for a while :)

Arizona Tea, Gatorade or Acqua Panna Water 10/$10

Hansen’s Junior Juice 4 pk, Tea 16 oz or Kool-Aid Bursts 6 pk 10/$10 - I don’t know how much the Hansen’s normally costs but $1 for a 4 pk just seems like an awful lot to me.

Sobe, Sobe Lifewater or Aquafina  FlavorSplash 10/$10

Good Earth Tea BOGOFREE (reg price $4.39) - 2 for the price of 1.

Amp, Sobe No Fear or Rockstar Energy Drink 16 oz 2/$3

Venom Energy Drink 4 pk $3.99

Lipton Tea 12 pk $4.99 each WYB 2

Bounty Paper Towels 8 roll or  Charmin Ultra Bath Tissue 6-12 roll $6.99 - THIS is when a $.25 coupon is worth using.  Use $.25 Bounty Coupon or $.25 Charmin coupon, both found in the 11-29 PG insert. Quadrupled this takes an entire $1 off the total!

Tide Powder or 2x Concentrate Liquid Detergent $10.99 - use $.35 coupon from the 11-29 PG insert. Sadly this is 2 cents too much to triple, but doubling it gets you $.70 off.

Downy Fabric Softener or Bounce Dryer Sheets $5.99

Gain or Cheer 2x Liquid Detergent  $4.99 - use $.35 cheer coupon from the 11-15 SS insert. Doubled you get $.70 off.

Puffs Facial Tissue  4/$5 - use $.25/3 coupon from 11-29 PG insert. Quadrupled you save $1 on 3 boxes.

Hefty Easy Grip Cups 2/$3 - use $1/2 coupon from the 11-15 RP insert and get 2 cups for $1 each!

Ziploc Containers 2/$5 - use the $1.50/2 coupon from the 11-15 SS insert to get 2 containers for $3.50

Homelife Aluminum Foil 25 sqft or Snack Bags  50 ct 10/$10

Homelife Crystal Dinnerware 24 ct full size or Foam Cups 51 ct 8 oz 10/$10

Glade Aerosol Spray 10/$10 - use BOGO coupon from 11-1 SS insert to get 2 for $1

Flipz Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Hershey’s King Size Bars 10/$10 - Flipz are usually almost a $1 or more so this is a good deal.

All Cards, Wrap, Bows, Ribbon, Bags, Boxes and Tissue is 50% off.

Tropical Mangos 10/$10

Avocados medium size 10/$10 - since I’ve seen large ones for this price, I’m not thrilled with this sale.

Roma Tomatoes 10 lbs for $10

Northwest Pears Bartlett, Bosc, Red or Anjou 10 lbs for $10 - just in time to replenish my dwindling pear supply! Unless I am drowning in pears I always try to buy at least a few at this price.

Colorful Bell Peppers Red, Green, Yellow or Orange - 10/$10

Large English Cucumbers 10/$10 - have you tried these yet?  I wonder if we’ll ever go back to the regular kind after eating these.  $1 or less is stock up price, and just in time I’m down to my last one.

Fresh Squash Yellow, Zucchini or Grey 10 lbs for $10

Fresh Whole Carrots 2 lb bag 10/$10

Red Delicious or Golden Delicious Apples 10 lbs for $10

Brussel Sprouts $.99 lb

Russet Potatoes 10 lb $2.99 each - not a bad price, it usually doesn’t get much lower.

Fresh Express Spinach 2/$3

King Soopers:

After all the Albertsons deals KS seems a bit lacking, but there are some good deals to be had here as well.

Baking Sale- not sure how many of these are actual deals though…

Challenge Butter 1 lb $1.99 (save $2.50) - MUCH cheaper than reg price and a good brand, if that matters.

http://print.coupons.com/CouponWeb/Offers.aspx?pid=13306&zid=iq37&nid=10

Gold Medal Flour 5 lb $2.49 (save $.80) not much of a savings here. Good if you need it, but not stock up price in my opinion.

Kroger Powdered or Brown Sugar 2/$3 (save $.29) - Albertsons is cheaper at $1 each for their brand

Kroger Value Sugar 4 lb $1.88 (save $.27) - again not the best savings.

Nestle Toll House Morsels $1.99 (save $1.50) - that’s almost half price and when you add the $.50/1 coupon (doubled) from the 11-1 RP insert, it’s less than $1 a bag. Now THAT’S savings!

Baking Nuts 12-16 oz $3.99 - no savings listed so I can’t tell you what kind of deal this is.

Everyday Living Kitchen or Gadgets or Bakeware 25% off (save up to $3) - I guess it depends on what you are saving $3 off.

Blackberries 6 oz package 10/$10 (save $2.99)

USDA Choice Boneless NY Strip Steak 50% (save up to $5.50 lb) - does this mean the price is normally $10 or more a pound?  Half price is generally a good buy either way.

Foster Farms Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts $1.99 lb - it’s name brand but if you don’t care Albertson’s has it for $1.77 lb instead and remember you can always price match Walmart.

Colorado Proud Milk Gallons $1.99

Chicken of the Sea  Chunk Light Tuna $.59 (save $.30) - not sure if the varieties are the same as Albertsons, but if so THIS is the better deal.
