So you want to save money shopping? There’s an app for that.
Savvy shoppers sure know how to find a good deal.
We use coupons from newspaper inserts, tearpads, blinkies, peelies, hang tags and anywhere else we can find em.
We go to various web sites to print out additional coupons and find coupon codes for online shopping as well as for use in B&M (Brick and Mortar) stores. Some of my favorites are:
Coupon Craze has a search engine for finding various online coupons as well as a link to printable grocery coupons.
Hot Coupon World is a nonstop shop for savings information, including a searchable grocery coupon database as well as a link to an online coupon website.
We also have downloadable coupons sites that you go to and they send the coupons to your grocery club card. Among these are:
Shortcuts
P&G eSAVER
upromise they take your discount and add it towards your college savings fund.
There is also a cell phone or web based source of coupons called Cellfire. Through them you are able to get more grocery coupons loaded onto your store card as well as get access to other retail coupons and offers right to your phone!
And now a brand new service has been released just for the iphone and itouch.
It’s called Yowza!! and it boasts exclusive deals worked out directly with the retailers. Much like Cellfire this app has the ability to use your phone directly and show the retailer your screen with the coupon on it for them to scan. Unlike Cellfire, Yowza!! does not currently deal with grocery stores, nor load coupons onto your club card, however if you own an iphone, it’s worth downloading the app (it’s free) and checking out your local area. They add new stores every day, from Dairy Queen to The Children’s Place (depending on your location) and more, so you never know when you will have access to a new store or a new coupon.
So many options out there…I wonder what they’ll come up with next!

Good stuff! I wish I had time to click on the websites.. not today but sometime soon. I just restarted our stockpile and Mike said I’m not allowed to go shopping after looking at your pantry! Hee hee - I have a nice pile started.

Glad to hear you have a good pile started
It took me awhile to get my mountain of cereal bars (among other things), but it’s great because now that I have let go of the fear they won’t be on sale again, I can give them out freely and my kids love cereal bars! Keep up the good work, It’ll pay off sooner than you think!
