Safeway:

I went looking for the $.99 Bread and stumbled onto a deal for Pepsi 3/$10 with a $3/3 coupon so I took advantage of that too.

Total Spent: $22.12

Total Saved: $15.95

King Soopers:

A quick stop off to take advantage of the last of the 10 Mega Savings and get a few bags for school. Of course I accidentally bought two boxes of snack bags instead…guess I need to read the labels more carefully next time ;)

Total Spent: $3.42

Total Saved: $24.33

Target: Trip 1

Target is still the only place where I can find bulk nectarines and plums, this week they were $1.50 for a 3 lb bag so I bought 2 of each! Add to that some bananas with the $.50 off coupon and a few other things and not a bad trip.

Total Spent: $16.91

Total Saved: $12.70

Target: Trip 2

I’ve been hearing about the great deals everyone else has been having so I thought I’d see what I could do with what I had.  I bought 4 sourdough rolls for nothing after coupons, 8 boxes of Special K Chocolate cereal (each set of 4 got me a $5 GC) as well as another GC for the 4 boxes of Special K Pretzel bars, plus a free gallon of milk for the 2 boxes of Nutrigrain bars I bought. Add to that more cheap bananas and 4 free cups of GM cereal, and 2 free string cheeses (thanks to Target’s coupons).  Big savings or small, everything there was bought with a coupon of some sort, over the course of 3 transactions (to make the most of my GCs)

Total Spent: $67.86

Total Saved: $41.03

$15 in GC earned plus an extra $4 in cash I got back because we forgot to scan the 4 GM cereal coupons for $1 each.

I also went to Albertsons for their Gatorade deal, but with the shelves bare I contented myself with a rain check and 3 loaves of french bread at $1 each.

Grand Total Spent: $113.31

Grand Total Saved:$98.01 plus $15 in GC
